New MFT Camera Day

I wanted something smaller and lighter to take hiking & wild camping so I looked to Micro Four Thirds and bought an Olympus E-M5 ii and a Panasonic 14-42mm lens. They only arrived today so haven't had chance to get out with it yet but I quite like it. Will be looking to add the Olympus 60mm macro lens at some point.

Anybody else use Micro Four Thirds?

I have a Nikon D700, which is a bit of a tank. The Olympus will allow me to take a proper camera with me on trips.

I’m still using a D3400 but was thinking of changing to an OM-5. The stabilisation is supposed to mean no tripod needed , ever !

The 5 axis stabilization is unreal.

Here is a 1 second exposure handheld at 42mm (84mm equivalent). It's not bad, especially as I don't practice handheld long exposures.
