Hi all,
I have only recently joined but I have been browsing the forum for about 3 months now and having been impressed with the community here I thought I would finally take the plunge and say hello!
Though new to 'bushcraft' I am no stranger to the outdoors having been lucky enough to work as an assistant ranger with the National Trust for the past 8 years and before that working in the forestry industry. Last year I fulfilled a life long ambition of purchasing a woodland of my own (just under 7 1/2 acres, mostly neglected Hornbeam coppice) and my interested in practising traditional 'bushcrafty' skills has grown steadily since.
I very much look forward to getting to know you all!
