Nice one Sam, I bet it will be good for holing out for a fire drill kit. I take by the picture it is double bladed like a dagger?

I know there has been many a discussion on the origianl flint "knife" whether it was a fire striker or a knife or combination of both. Oetzi's kit has a lot to talk about and did like his fire pouch set up which was basically a belt set up pouch which had an extra covering....

Yeah in keeping with tbe original its double edged. Not the norm with a metal knife i know but in keeping with the original.
Ill let you know how it fares as i'll be using it on courses this year.

Just started reading the man in the ice by konrad spindler. All about öetzi. I forsee a few projects being inspired by it

If you want to make one, some people get enough out of rawhide dog bones. Just wet and unravel.
