New handle for Mora

Hi all, after seeing a thread about changing the handle of a Mora i decided to give it a go. I took off the plastic handle of my Mora training knife,which has not seen much use since i got my lapp knife,and replaced with this.

This is my first attempt at anything like this,so i no its not perfect.

Also a thanks must go to British Blades as the tutorials over there kept me right.

Hi Wolf, yeah it was a piece that i,ve had lying around for awhile its intended use was for hearths. I also used antler for the middle section.

Hi Smarty, the length of the tang was 45cms.

Excelent work, i made my first scandi a while ago but lack of funds has halted further knifemaking, i may have to remove the handle from my mora!

anyone have a picture of the tang?

sorry mate no pic,should also mention that the plastic handle takes a fair bit of hammering to get off,its very tough..
