I purchased a pair of Hanwag Mountain Light GTX on sale last week and they arrived today. I've had my Lowa Mountain GTX for five years or so now and whilst they are still in almost perfect nick, I thought it was time to treat myself to a new pair. I've been looking at Hanwag's for a while and resisted (no longer) the Lowa's will still be my main hiking boots as they are the best I've ever owned.
I'll try to get out tomorrow and give them a brief trial in the woods but first impressions are that they are very well made and very comfy. I like the looks too, they will improve with age I think.
