Name of knot?

Just wondering if anyone uses this and what it's name is? I've used similar and maybe even this before, but it's not something I have in mind...

No idea if it has a name.

Isn't it an overhand with half hitch tied so you end up with something like a highwayman's hitch but the overhand knot stays in place? I am unsure what the advantage would be? I'd rather be left with a clean rope.

yeah, when you release it you've still got a knot to undo, although it's not tight and easy to do

I was wondering if there is a specific reason for it, but the video has no other context.

Isn't it just a Mooring Hitch tied weirdly...ish

Simpler knots do the same job. You can finish many hitches with a bite.
