To make your own lightweight chair you can carry with you.
First buy some cheap 1mx2m Parachute offcut. Then measure so it is roughly floor to your neck and cut.

Fold edge over twice at top and bottom edge, so it is triple layer fabric. Place pins in every couple of inches.

Place fabric in sewing machine, and remove pins as you sew. [If your sewing sucks, like mine, a local dressmaker will probably do the whole thing for you for 3 or 4 quid]
Sew both top and bottom edge and remove pins

Then fold over and pin and sew again, making a loop one at one endof 12cms [bottom] and a loop at the other end of 2" [top]
