It's been a while since the last survival tin review so me being a newb thought I would show mine although I like to refer to mine as a handy tin as it is more an EDC item!

I started with a BCB tin bought when camping in Wales years ago which has been altered significantly to suit my needs...

On the outside of the tin is 6X100mm strips of gaffa tape arranged so they are stuck staggered for ease of removal. Also I have 65 feet of B50 Dacron which is a bow string material rated at 30lbs break strain wound round the tin under the black tape. Enough for one long bow or two shorties if I ever need a bow string:rolleyes:

I did have a fishing kit but took it out to make room for more useful stuff.

Well I hope you like my handy kit, it travels with me 95% of the time and I use it a lot especially the meds. Any suggestions of what to add or remove welcome.

Steve.

I don't think I've ever seen so much useful stuff put into a tin before.

Well done Steve.

Those are perfect for those pesky nose hairs, helps while away the hours when ye get bored with whittling etc.

That actually looks like a well thought out and pragmatic survival tin.

Has quite inspired me to revamp my own.

and the really is a lot of stuff you have packed in

You forgot to put a condom in there Steve.

Much fun can be had with those...

they're really good for inflating over yer head by breathing through your nose. :D

Aha, "The Urban Spaceman!" trick

Not overly practical for Bushcraft purposes, but can raise a snigger in limited company.
