Good evening Jed I am well thankyou Hope your family is well. I take it you guys are going in Feb. Been lurcking a lot lately, just trying to get Greg to part with that axe of his

Actually Jed I was thinking along the same lines - there is a loverly new line in Scandinavian design furniture I have been thinking of making....I am sure the boys would love to find this waiting for them around a large stone built fire pit, itself lined with flattened alu cans (so good for slow release heat) and the half burned remains of the last remaining dogs of firewood in the area.
We could also of course leave them pleanty of cord in useful places - just so they don't have to bring any - and both Greg and Mark could play with their axes, seeing who could carve the deepest notches in say, 20 living trees, in the shortest time (without removing any of their own body parts...)
Greg needs to practice with his new shiny things and Mark REALY needs to practice with his axe......
Or is this all too main stream bushcraft for us?

I haven't used the Cegga yet (I've been in work since I got it!:tapedshut )
The other two though have been used and I like them!
As for the furniture John and fire place that would be great wouln't it..

I'm afraid you'll have to keep up the wishful thinking mate or buy your own because I like the SFA too much! Even though I have a Cegga aswell!
