hi karl ...........i am working on the bowl .........slowly ......ive nearly got all the main trunk out.........i havent got the proper tools so all i am doing is drilling into it with a half inch spade bit and then chiselling it out with an ordinary half inch wood chisel but it is looking good..........i am going to cut the base so the front is a little lower than the back to show the shape off of the back........i have cleaned the outside up a bit and the grain is beautiful ill put some pics up when ive finished it........the same goes for the bowl as for the sticks i wish i had a load more

fantastic work mate, those wood spirits, become very addictive, i started looking at the shed door, a bit funny thinking, that could do with a wood spirit, then the rail leading up the garden, after a while, you just want to carve anything that does not move, keep up the good work, its a great past time mate.
