Following on from here – http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140466

About 95% finished. Just need to reinforce and then bind all the internal seams. Then cut all the straps to length and finish them off.

It takes all the kit we wanted + a bit extra. All up with the kit below it weighs in at 5KG and is about 25L.

The bottom fold out section take the basha kit, heavy weight MVP jacket and light weight MVP trousers. The top section has a summer sleeping bag and Goretex bivi bag in it. There is still room for a few bits of clothing if needed.

The jacket , trousers and bivi are uncompressed, so we should also be able t make them pack up smaller (next job)

Last time I use a piece of non branded zip. The main one failed and I have had to replace it with some genuine YKK Vislon which I was lucky enough to get hold of in the right colour
