I've heard that ME down bags are legendary? I've had mine at least 25 years now, still going strong and well loved. The only problem is I've lost the product details, including the sewn on label. Can anyone give any info about my bag, e.g. fill weight and exact type, season rating? Here's what I think I know:
It's a Dragon Series (that label is still attached)
It is feather filled (I think it's down)
It is filled 30% underside and 70% upper side (I may have the proportions wrong)
The underside is damp proof (?) the upper isn't- different fabrics in different shades of blue
The outer is 100% nylon, inner 100% cotton (per the care label)
The inner is bright red
Draw cords at shoulder and hood
zipped 'pillow' pocket on the hood
full length YKK zip
It weighs around 1800g
I bought it in the mid 1980's
This is just a shot in the dark but hopefully someone can say, "yip, it's just like my .... ME bag"
