Moto Bushcrafting gear?

I didn't call them, but usually all Ortlieb products are made in Germany.
Because the drybags, bicycle bags and motorbike bags have an outstanding high quality you see them in use as well as in shops everywhere in Germany.
Slowly the first become round about 30 years old. And off course people notice that.

I ask because I'm a fan of ortlieb and quality straps. Alas no not made in Germany like most of their range

I go bushcrafting using my can am spyder. I have lots of luggage space with a large front trunk, givi side panniers. I use an oxford roll bag strapped to the pillion seat with its strap fastened under the seat and rok straps over the bag. Although I do have heated grips the handlebar muffs are essential in winter as they keep the wind off the hands. I wear knox under armour with warm clothing on outside with a goretex outer. I wear armoured overtrousers and high boots on bottom half. Furthermore, I do carry a medium sized rucsac which is slim and does not affect movement of elbows or obscure rear vision. Off to Lords Wood on Spyder this week. Hope this helps.

In terms of roc straps I use the loop type rather than the hook type as they are more secure. My pillion handles of my Spyder lend themselves to loops.

For those who ride in winter. Two years ago I bought a heated jacket liner I've always been able to dress warm enough but this came up at a good price and I was feeling flush so thought I'd give it a go.....man alive it's the most luxurious thing I own! Id recommend one to anybody doing any amount of winter miles. A little bit spendy but you won't want to be without one again

When it comes to combining moto and bushcraft gear, I always feel like I’m doing gear Tetris. I stick to adventure or dual-sport jackets and trousers, they're usually abrasion-resistant for the road but also comfy and flexible enough for setting up camp or trudging through the woods. Gaiters are clutch for bush stuff, but I agree, nothing beats a solid pair of motorcycle boots that can do double duty on the trail. As for waterproofing, I keep a lightweight shell handy, just in case.

For carrying gear, I usually use good panniers or a quality rack system and sometimes a dry bag that I strap across the back. I try to avoid backpacks unless I absolutely need them. The trick is finding bike luggage that also detaches easy and is somewhat comfortable to lug, sometimes I check stores that really focus on motorcycle and outdoor crossover stuff. Actually, I was browsing some motorcycle accessories recently and noticed https://roguepowersports.com/ has all sorts of options for bags, racks, and other gear you might want for this kind of riding/adventure blend. Might be worth a look if you’re still sorting what to use for your setup.

So many on here doing this, and with loads of tips and experience that maybe we need a new section on Moto-bushcraft! And I thought I was a minority......

Couple of ideas to add to those above;
A bike cover packs small and light and tends to keep thieving eyes off - and doubles as a tarp tent if you forget the tent (Done that)
There is a pretty light screw-in ground anchor like a spiral reinforcing rod, designed for dogs etc but also works for a bike in a field. (Park over the top of it and it cannot be unscrewed.)

If going a long way off from the bike or in a remote car park, then consider parking somewhere more secure and taking a taxi to /from to your start-point.
Fabric bike jackets work pretty well for hiking, and even better if you take the back armour out and leave it with the bike or base camp. And put the bike chain thru the helmet as well as the bike.
