Had great fun borrowing someone elses Youngling to carve a 101 pumpkin! 'Nuff respect, mate, thanks for helping me understand some much needed basic knife safety =)

And my Youngling had the benefit of experts to help him on the path too! Thanks to everyone who 'mentored' him so he could start safely x

Here's Alexs' great dutchie brewing up some bread- gonna add Martins sage temperature guidance- litre capacity +2 underneath and -2 on top = 350 degrees, so rounding mine up to 5l=7 embers under and 3 on top (I understand these need to be at the edge as the internal heat thermocycles so the top would burn if they were centrally)

And heres the delish resultant bread =)

With a forum name like mine, you'll not be surprised to see my veiw of Cliffs wonderful G Wagon! Martins pix were brill of it externally but phwooooaaaar, webasto, block heater and loads of extras as standard... it looked the mutts!!!

And what an internal set up... looks soooo cushty...we got some comfort going in the 101 when we used to camp but this looks a whole new and better level.

And heres the not-so-modest kitchen extension with OVEN, yes indeedy =)

I like my pic of our friday set up with the low sun and taken from ground level. Fiiiine neighbours too, as always!

Saturday morning breakfast- I'm collecting cooking/ communal fire pics for that lucky drum find I KNOW I'll make one day. Even if Santa could fit one in his sack for me, I really don't want him to try n force it down my chimney...

Old bird setting up a roost in a tree... actually taking it down, to much amusement from the communal fire!

Heres a reference pic of the hammock chair for any potential replicaters- it was real comfy and stood up marvellously to some pretty enthusiastic product testing from the Young Uns! TBH it was a good tree toy

Well, got a few more but these are my faves... thank you so much to everyone who made up the NorthWood haloween community, we had a super time, saw and learned a lot, had lovely chats and giggles... you're all awesome, but especial thanks to Steve for organising such a great meet and all they folk who gave Youngling the benefit of knife knowledge that I couldn't!

I love your pics, Martin, I think your camera has outperformed mine tbh and you captured some super moments... how you managed to get the rabbits and gammon fresh outta the hangi before they were stripped to the carcass, I don't know!! =)

Gosh, my poor memory is shot to sh....ards, I'm just hopeless with names! I'll be very weather dependant but yup, hugely committed to keeping on coming. I swear I'm getting properly reacquainted with my much neglected inner man, who is enjoying getting out with good company as much as the woman in me loves getting back to hot running water, flush toilets etc etc
