Just thought i would share with you lot my home made Monkey Boy stove, The man is a genius!!
One screw down air pellet tin, and grate supplied by my good friend Hugo!, thanks mate, just the job!

Glass rope under £4.00 from local plumbers merchants, One lower hole in the hobo stove to bring the billy can a bit lower, and one Full billy boiled in under 4 mins in the workshop, just over 7 outdoors with a little wind!

soldering mats (as used by plumbers to avoid burning walls when using soldering pipes) come in a sheet & can be cut to shape - I use a bit of loft insulation with a cut bit of the mat and a mesh over it - looks neater.

Now there's something i hadn't thought of!
Mat's cost about £11.00 against £4.00 for rope, other than that, spent 14 years in the plumbing industry, the mat should work well!
