Looks good, you might need to move a couple to somewhere a little warmer if we get a very cold snap but as long as they don't get too wet or very dry they should be fine. You should get a couple of dozen plants next year!

What do you plan to experiment with next year?

I've potted up two dozen - could have divided some, but that's enough.

Next year we are going for long stem spring wheat in a heritage variety which stems from Britain but is now not grown here (re-imported from the US through a kind friend). You don't get much so I will need to spend a year or two breeding up a viable stock ...but home made bread from home grown wheat cooked on our own fuel sounds like a challenge to me!

Thanks for the update and all the details in the other thread, I'm always curious to know how people get on with some of the more rare plants we grow. I will have a go at the syrup in the next week or two, when we lift all our plants.
