First try at midnight foraging for me, after shellfish on the lowest tides of the month. Working during the day, so the midnight low was the only option. Good trip too - nice heavy swag bag on the walk back!
 
Just a cheap and cheerful LED headtorch.

Collected oysters and razor clams - about a dozen of each, and a handful of large cockles. Sometimes I get the odd scallop too, but none this trip.
 
I thought the Wye River looked exceptionally high over the past few mornings... Big Spring!

Last outing resulted in about 3lb of winkles, which where superb steamed in Balsamic :)

It's nearly midnight and I'm heading for the fridge, cheese and branston pickle is my target prey.

Hey Al. that stuff is supposed to last you all year. You'll have finished it by the end of the month at this rate! You can't make more until next year you know.
