Mattson 120 and masur birch

I have finally finished the Mattson 120 I have been making.

Its crosscut masur birch antler red fibre and a brass bolster.
The sheath is wet formed halftanned leather and a wooden liner.

Great leatherwork too.I like that ; alot.
Junior took the spoons part-carved with your Steen Nillsen knife to Michigan.
Hopefully they have been well received.It's a great little carver.Very very sharp
and holds the edge well.I put the micro bevel back on in the end , it seems to work better.

I told you it was supposed to have a secondary bevel. Your lad will love the camp I am sure.
