I joined this forum a short while ago and my first purchase was a Mark Hill blank being sold off. Well this is what I did with it. It needs a sheath now, but that will have to wait while I sort some leather.
I hope you all like it. Tell me what you think.

The blank and the reindeer roll with red liners

Liners sanded and pilot holes drilled. I went with corby bolts in brass as well as lanyard tube.

All glued up. In hindsight I should have cut the scales to rough size now as it left more work once assembled.

Rough shape to my liking. I used my Woodlore as a benchmark as I find this comfy for me.

The finished article side by side for comparison :)

Well that's it. Fun work and a reminder of how much I love making knives.

I prefer a little more guard as i'm a bit of a finger cutter - but that looks lovely

I'm a huge fan of Marks knives, and proud owner of one which is my everyday user.

Those scales are stunning. You've got something there that'll last a lifetime.

You've certainly done Mark's blade justice there.
It does look better than the Woodlore, I think,
very classy knife indeed.
Your leatherwork is going to be top notch to live up to that.
Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers , Simon
