Went to Bristol this weekend and wanted to get a few bits and bobs for the Cornwall meet this weekend.
Marcruss Stores, army surplus and camping, on Hotwell Road has been there for as long as I can remember and I go back further than I care to remember. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are still there.
Anyway, I took my purchases to the till and I was asked if I wanted one of their discount cards. 10% off at the till and every time I go in there and show the card. All they wanted was my email address, to send me a monthly email, so I gave them my gmail address and came out £5 better. It's a shame I live so far away but such is life.
