March Mini Meet..(Pic Heavy)

Hi! Just returned from a mini meet with a few good friends, great time as usual although a little cold, lots of fire by various forms of friction, thanks James for your cool calm delivery with the boys, they certainly learned a lot this weekend, axe use and sharps safety, sharpening and carving, flint and steel etc etc.

Skate tried out a tent fireplace or such like, as pics show,very effective, we ate like lords, put up a swing, big kids had a go! Played scots pine log rolling, and generally had a brilliant time.

Oh you may have noticed we have a new bush buddy," Nutmeg", although she has been called other names! She is a natural in the woods and enjoyed her first meet.

Thanks guys, really enjoyed the weekend.

Great time, as always, and nice to meet James and the new addition Nutmeg who seemed well at home in the woods when she could escape from Ivan's armpit! Fireplace worked well and will get used again at the cold meets. Thanks for another chilled sesh and see you all at the next one.

Great pics buddy, makes me wish I had more time off work to come down and see you guys. Have you thought about using your frontier stove somehow with your Bedouin palace skate?

No sense in roughing it Reckon the stove would work well standing in front of the more usual open fronted Bedouin palace. Will you be bringing "The Main Stage" again? Might know a couple of bands to fill any vacant early slots
