just a thought......... if we do start in hay on wye the canoe hire place ive listed above ^ is only 5 miles from hay about 1hr 30 mins on the river so would be an ideal place to rent from.
they may even drop it off in hay for you, but i suggest you familliarise yourself with it on the way down to hay if your not used to canoeing its a gentle section with only 2 or 3 parts where the water actually moves you more than 1-2 miles per hour
the cap park in hay will take 25 cars or so and should be realetivley empty in march i woudnt suggest leaving your car there however, it is after all a town center more or less.
anyone needing a lift from abergavenny train station let me know,or some place to leave a car (but only if you have a space in some one elses canoe or are renting as i cant transport 2 canoes at once)
anything else i can do to help let me know guys and gals went with 4 other ppl last time and it was fun im hopeing its more the merry,r so make an effort and ill do all i can to help
oo no longer a tenderfoot woot me !!!

Good luck with the job, shame its put the kybosh on you coming along on the paddle.

Keep an eye out as I'm sure we'll be arranging one or two more through the year
