Great meet and good to see everyone
As people were expressing interest, here is the link to the outfitter in Finland we use

Norwegian air seem to do the best deals for flights - a bus from the airport to the Saimaa region is about 30e, a train about 70e...2-3 hours - think that's a return ticket.
The outfitter then comes to get all of the customers for 40e and drives them to the launch. 40e on return also.
Here is a link to the ebay page of the uk reseller of the mycanoe

the ONAK has just gone on sale and although its very interesting I'd wait for reviews as the bow is not one clean piece but rather a gathering of folds so it may resist more than a classic shape and not steer as well. There are a lot of cross straps also, whereas the mycanoe uses steel ribs. Guess reviews will start to come in over the next month or two..
Bill and I go out regularly so if anyone wants a play on a canoe one W/E then pm me - I'm based in Brighton so if you fancy a day out on the riveria I'm sure we can sort it. If it really grabs you then there is a chance to come along on a nordic trip - the more the merrier.
