Making own canoe sacks?

Got given a pair of army waterproof trews...dont fit me (I dont like them anyway) so was wondering on how to make them into canoe sacks

how do you seal the seams?

anyone done anything like this?

I saw one made this last week in fact take two seperate squares lay them on top of each other after putting some aquaseal glue about 1/2 around three edges.

The to seal the top roll it up a few times and seal it with a few paper clips!!
