I've made three already, however I have some questions.
Where can I get the thick plastic type webbing they use on commercial webbing?
I'm going to seal it with the silicone and white spirit method but how should I stretch it out and apply it?
Has anybody else tried making their own dry bags? I know toddy was but then you got given some. How far did you look into it toddy?

Thanks for any help as I've got the basic idea however just wanted these few bits clarified. :)

Jacob, regarding the DIY silicon I tried to repair a pair of gaiters that had failed on the elastic part by stretching them attached to a plank and some cheap G-clamps from Poundland. Whilst the stretching method worked, the Diy sealant leaked through (and that was Goretex) and made a right mess by drying white. Try some Mcnett seam sealant

Sports direct are selling the Karrimor dry bags very cheaply.

I bought a Sea-to-summit one at the weekend from Cotswold.

:)
