Hello,

I was messing around with pheasant berry stalks today and decided to make a fishing float.

1. Take a stalk and trim it down leaving one sealed air chamber intact.
2. Clean one end for better visual in water and put some holes in other end for line. DO NOT peice central airtight chamber!!
3. Put a flower in the top for better visual (you dont have too)
4. Tie to line and fish.

cool - is there a weight at the bottom as I would have expected the 'twig' to have floated flat on the top of the water rather than vertically...

WOW - great idea mate!
Is that a small stone on the 6th picture? that you put in the end of the hollowed part?
I think I´ll give it a try and make one or more of these myself soon :D

cheers and thx

Good use of the materials to hand.
I used to make them from bird quills and wine corks when I was a boy and had no money to spend in the tackle shop. Happy days.
