Made a Berry Harvester

Earlier in the year I made this berry picker, and have only recently had a chance to test it out. As you can see it has worked quite well.

The design is basically lifted from the one you can buy from RM's website, but being a frugal (tight) sort of chap nobody extracts money from my wallet when I have plywood and coathanger wire kicking around to do the same job.

The blaeberries are now safely packed down in cheap vodka to preserve them for the winter.

The blaeberries? are these the same as wind berries that grow on open more land on heather?

Never heard them called windberries before, but they are variously known as bilberries, whortleberries and blaeberries depending on which part of the country they are from. (Latin name vaccinium myrtillus).
