The forecast for here (Somerset) is cloudy, so I don’t think I’ll be getting up very early....

Same here but the forecasts are sometimes a little bit not quite right.

Nearly 4.30am here, clear sky and a great view of a partial eclipse here. Total eclipse at 5.12.

Stayed up all night to watch this from my bedroom window. Now 5.04 am and just as it gets to the best bit the flipping clouds have decided to obscure my view. Grrrrr!

Saw some of it in glimpses between the clouds.

Haven't seen Hati chewing on the Moon like that for a long time.

Total was 7:30PM Pacific Standard time.
Of course it clouded over for 2 hrs UNLIKE all of last night.

Like the photos, very clear. Partial cloud in NE Scotland, saw some bits and pieces, still it's always nice to look up occasionally.

Forecast down here was thick cloud so didn't hold out much hope.
Woke up at 2am & the skies were crystal clear so set an alarm for 4:15.
Alarm woke me, went outside & a blanket of cloud covering the sky so could not see anything.

Weather Gods toying with me again!

Too awake to go back to bed so got on with some paperwork.
Went to the beach at 7:00 & got a decent sunrise as a consolation prize.
Glad some of you saw it.

Absolutely clear skies here in the early hours - beautiful moon and bright bright stars.

Couldn't find my tripod mount at 4:30 AM - still worth watching though.

Hand held with high ISO - won't win any prizes
