Ludicrous Swiss Army Knife - for real?

Can't work out if this is a serious item by SAK for use around the house or just some weird promotional item. The reviews are damn funny, worth a read:

They made it for collectors and, well, because they could. It's a big brick of a thing and impossible to use.

I saw one of these on holiday last year. A photo does not do it justice, in the flesh it's humongous, it has it's own gravitational field.

First saw this in Switzerland about six years ago. They were promotional items but for sale too. Noticed that only Wenger
Did it and not victorinox. The one I got was a collectors edition at about 4 inches wide (will post pics later).
