Went up to Tamarack's on saturday and ordered myself a Helsport Kongsvold 8-10 Camp.
Does anyone know of or recommend a decent camp bed that will be comfortable for me? i'm 6'5".

Should i be looking at the ones aimed at anglers?

Thanks

I prefer the UK Military ones personally, no good for back-packing though. Have a look at the MOD disposal sites or military surplus shops, the other thing that I found good is they are wider than many I have tried.

Those carp fishermen do have some fabulous kit.

Folding cot beds all seem to come in around 1.9m so you'll get some overhang

I've now an army cot (not used yet) and http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3408427.htm#pdpFullProductInformation and they are much the same. Firm but comfy but you need to lay a foam mat on top in winter to insulate yourself and pad the bottom bar to make overhang comfortable. A few bits of self adhesive velcro will keep the cell mat in place.

is this available in the uk?

They do have brick & mortar stores scattered about and I would love to visit one one day but by and large Cabela's is a mail order supplier and will ship anywhere. Cost might well be prohibitive but the only way to know is to contact them.
