hope this works!!!!!

just hopefully learned how to post pics but i'll know in a few mins whether i've cracked it or still have a lot to learn.

i went for a wee trip to lochindorb near grantown-on-spey in october (after some good advice from here, thanks dogoak if you read this).

my first time out with my new kit...... i put up my hammock but when i sat on it i hit the ground & had to re adjust it, ouch!!

i also had trouble getting the tarp tight but hey these are things you learn along the way eh!

here are a few pics (if they work)

A nice spot there.
Life is a learning curve my friend.......I seem to forget more than I remember.

You can resize the images and then copy and paste with imageshack this makes for better viewing IMO as the images appear rather than having to click on the link

Lochindorb is a nice place. My wife lost a ring there a few years ago. You didn't find it by any chance?:lmao: Great pictures and the camp looks good.:D

ta for that tommy, i'll attempt resizing the foties but it's a start & i'm glad people can see them.

''My wife lost a ring there a few years ago. You didn't find it by any chance?''...... no but funnily enough there was a strange wee bloke calling everything his ''precious'' LOL.

it's a lovely wee spot but dont speak to me about fishing!!!! arrrgh!! i was there for hours, no boats avail at that time apparently so i was attempting from the shore, i swear the fish were having a laugh at my feeble attempts to catch them, every couple of mins i would hear a splash then reel in & fire the bait as close as i could to it but nothing. was good just to be oot & aboot tho.

ta for reading!!

a wee question, how do ye get the smiley's in the actual post? i only get the option to put them in the title.

yes gaz it's free to fish, i used a basic rod & reel as i dont know how to fly fish, a few people passed but no funny looks of disapproval so im guessing that was fine. You'd be better with a boat to get out a bit tho as it is shallow for a good bit out from the bank. Defo plenty of fish oot there!!

I would recomend it, only down point was that it was quite busy as i think people can stay in the house there & the must have been a shoot on as i seen a few cars & heard a few shots!! hope they had more luck than me. Lol!!

just type lochindorb straight into google maps, it comes up as lochindorb lodge. it about 15 - 20 miles from aviemore. nice drive with great views. i love it up there away from the city but having said that i have found from this site that these's plenty of places to go on my doorstep here in glasgow.
