Thank you very much for that, the pictures really take me back. I first camped (I think on that very spot) nearly 30 years ago on a school fishing trip. Went every year for three years including to dragging my M&D up there to show them how good it was. After A levels, me and my best bud went up there in his mum’s 4x4 Panda (really!) to chill out and be grown up – he pulled a 26lb pike out what’s still in his mum’s freezer, even shared the place with my ex (she wasn’t impressed).

I do remember getting slaughtered at ken with midges one year, it was on the other side just north of that point.
