Location needed for Bushcraft weekend

Hi all,

Part fo 2nd Crowthorne group, we are looking to do a long overdue survival weekend and need a location. Was hopping that one of you guys might know of a nice woodland ideal for the job that is not a million miles away.

We are between the M4 and M3 near sandhurst..

Any one>?

no. not really my neck of the woods. but i did have a pleasant weekend on a leader training do at http://www.paccarscoutcamp.org/ the other weekend. was well wooded for a scout camp.

Long time since this thread was opened but we were in http://www.phaselswood.org.uk/ in October 2013, loads of activities but also many areas to camp in the woods so perfect for Scouts, we were there during the storms in Oct so fire wood wasn't an issue.

John Lee's Wood near Markfield (Leicestershire) - great wee wood with lots of enclosed area's. Owned by the district if I remember right.
