no worries about the kit thing I am doing it because I want to no one else has to if they dont want I'm still not sure how little kit to take at the moment.

Hi Folks

Stayed at the site on Saturday night as I was canoeing in the area.

Dave has a couple of projects planned for late spring early summer - putting up a yurt and moving / completing his kitchen area.

If anyone wants to volunteer for weekends hard labour - you know its good for you - let him know. I'll keep in touch with him and post up when he has a weekend in mind.

Hi Folks

This post will be out of the flow of conversation in this thread, but forgive me for butting in and introducing myself...

My name's Dom (hence Landy_Dom) and I've been wildcamping and doing associated scouty things for many years. Red Kite introduced me to Dave Able, owner of the wood in LLangollen that I believe most of you are familiar with, when he and I did a canoe / bivvy weekend based there. He suggested I introduce myself in this thread, as I may well be bumping into some of you if I go back to the wood, or go to some of your meets (if I may).

The easiest way to recognise me is the prescence of a bright red Land Rover 90 and I often have my 11 year old son with me - he's well keen on bushcrafty stuff and built his own natural shelter and slept in it last trip
