Not sure but they kinda look like very young iguanas. Before they've grown their spines and taken color.

Red - what you need are komodo dragons. They have a venomous bite, one bite will kill anything... i kid you not.... only thing is they like eating people

That was the first thought.... but i watched a program recently that says they "do" have venom in their saliva, that is secreted from their gums or somesuch... a neurotoxin i think Deadly as a Taipans
