Good to see that BCUK is back up.

I know that a lot of you will have seen this little neck knife over on BB but I thought that I would post it here for those that have not.

I have started carrying this little neck knife as a backup. I is made of 3mm O1 so it quite tough and they is about a mill of supper on the scales to seal it. I call it the WebCutter.

The sheath had a multipositional belt loop

Its blade profile is inspired by the spyderco pride.

as you can see it quite small.

You can probably just see in the pic about that there are copper and aluminium liners.

I am curious what you carry it as a back-up for?

When I need a smaller knife, when I don't want to risk my DH Nordic Hunter or when it's small none threatening size is more appropriate. Also due to it's short length and the fact that Shing did a great job on the HT it makes quite a good pry again it is not something that I would want to use my Nordic Hunter for.

See why I don't want to abuse this :D

This is one of my backup knives that I often carry.

It is a Stainless Steel TimberWolf TW57 which I often use as a skinning knife.
Although this is not a neck knife, a neck lanyard could be passed through the belt loop so as to be hung.

I Love it! superb job Chris.
Also think the circuit board scales are inspirational.Very refreshing to see such an original use of materials.

Very nifty!

I love small, lightweight neckers, especially when I'm fishing but also around home. I wear them all the time.

One of my favorites is this el cheapo CRKT Hawk KAT. I pulled off the scales and cord wrapped it, then made a very light kydex sheath for it. I think the knife sells for $10-$15. Thin blade, cuts like mad.

Lately I've taken a fancy to a Buck Kaala (second one down).

Thanks Bob,

I am a computer consultant so the fact the the circuit board is from an ATX motherboard has special significance to me.

Nice little knife you have got there Greg.

And Hoodoo have you got every kind of knife on the planet ;) :D It is unusual to see purpose made neck knives over here with our carry laws.
