I have just bought one of these has anyone any input, they look the dogs to me like. To be able to take no water in with you reduces the weight vastly. I got mine from an army source who say that these are now issued in theatre for Afghanistan. I will put up the link & if I get any more will post them here OK

Thpught about getting one they look great! But I don't get out enough to warrant buying one as the filter has a limited life before you need to replace it regardless of how often you use it. So I got a steripen and micron filter bag instead.
But the reviews all say they're brilliant so enjoy!

Look good, but they're mega expensive compared to the "Katadyn MyBottle" any direct comparisons?

4000 litres (or 6000 litres) water purification capacity versus 100 litres of the Katadyn MyBottle. Katadyn's Combi on the other hand offers up to 50,000 litres capacity and is close to the price of the LifeSaver Bottle 6000. The "Pocket" is much more expensive.
