Does any-one own or have used one of these knives? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-RELEASE-L...73QQihZ019QQcategoryZ1403QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem With the manurfactorer being Leatherman I expect that it is of good solid build and design. I am considering buying the non-serrated blade and just wondered if it is possible to strike a firesteel with, and about any blade wobble.

Also the blade launcher worries me a little. There is a thumb stud, and apparently the blade launcher doesnt use a spring, any-one know anything about this aswell?

Many thanks in advance...Stu

They stock them in Blacks so why not pop in and ask if you can have a look? Probably better to get your hands on one and have a feel, than just go on a picture.

i dont get on with serrated blades, and i find a non-serrated blade that is good and sharp does the trick just as good and a little neater.

The thing is Leon, that serrated blades are only really any good for cutting rope.
If you sail alot then great, it probably is the best for you. Most of us tend to cut wood mainly and the serrations often get in the way.
It's one of those 'horses for course' things really.
