Whilst wandering round the shops the other weekend, I stumbled upon a bunch of Hunter stock in one of the (many) clearance shops. One set in particular caught my eye - I think they were the Hunter Crown boots - and although I didn't get them (since the shop didn't take cards and I didn't have the cash on me) they've been preying on my mind since.

They were labeled as £145, marked down from £330. Is that a good price? Are they a good boot?

Hunter make some seriously nice footwear. I think you've got to ask yourself two questions though.
1- do they fit well
2- do they suit your needs

I had a set of Glen Affric boots. Great build quality although a tad heavy. Just didn't work with my foot shape though. Back to my meindls...

I have a set of Royal Sovereign wellies and love them to bits, great to walk in - no problems at all.

mate my advice is that price dont matter if they fit and work and feel perfect for you happy days cos what works for me, wont work for you.

the reason i say that is i love and get away with wearing genuine army petrol boots best pair i ever baught and the only other person i know whos feet like these boots and who uses them is waylnd the viking so price it dont matter unless you on a buget.
