Law Relating to Saws

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
I wasn't particularly worried, though thanks for your concern :). I was just curious about where I stood legally if I was stopped for any reason. I am pleased to say that I am out in the forest just about everyday and by the sound of it probably breaking one of the bye laws most days too (cutting sticks, stealing birch sap, picking berries etc)!

On the plus side, I probably do a lot less harm than most of the cyclists or horse riders and I certainly don't leave lots of litter like the tourists, so overall I have a pretty clear conscience.....
