Lanyard holes: Do you use yours?

I`ve never used a lanyard on a knife. Can`t see the point.
Could be of use at sea though.

I add them on to all the knives I have that I can, you can take the lanyard off easily and the hole doesn't really get in the way.

It's nice to have'just in case' you are working over deep water on a boat or something similar.
