Some self indulgent millionaire wants to clone a wooly mammoth with surviving DNA in a world with no room for elephants let alone a animal whose ancient home is literally melting at an exponential rate. We are given Halloween BOOS with predictions our grandchildren will live on insects in a industrial food chain presently visiting horrors on meat producing animals. Plastic has replaced all life as the dominant non H2O component in our oceans. Soy and Palm Oil Plantations are wiping out the last tropical forests while temperate rainforests also decline from multiple assaults. I see these Rube Goldberg bandaids offered to the traumatic wounds caused by the same mindset and want to insert said technology in a warm dark place.
