Kuksa started, then into bowl

A nice piece of Sycamore burl fell into my hands a little while ago, and thought, What a beautiful Kuksa this will make.
So i started carving out the bowl, only to find the centre about an inch or so down was faily rotten, so i decided to make it into a potpourri bowl.
Could not believe what it looked like when i started to take of the bark, Lovely bit of spalting.
This is how it ended up!

it was the centre of the bowl which was rotten! i just cut the handle of to make a bowl!
