Hello all,

I have recently treated myself to a Helle Eggen and I am thinking about trying to give it a lanyard but as it has no hole.

Is it possible to drill a hole and shim it?

Has anybody done this type of work themselves or is it best left alone?

obvious thing to think about before you even start is how far the tang goes into the handle and if you are going to hit it when you drill.
have a look on BB im sure i saw something about re-handleing one maybe they have the dimentions?

I think www.brisa.fi sells the helle blades, they might have the dimentions of the tang
