Khukuri Sharping

I got my new Khukuri to day and would like some advice on how to sharpen it, have sharpened blades before just not a curved one, so before I mess it up..........

I use wet 'n dry on a mousemat on my thigh for big jobs, or the rods from my sharpmaker (done freehand) for touching up.

dey Shambling shaman, how have you been see you've taken up my recommendation. Khuri house are superb but the handles can be a bit tough on the hands. Sharpening wise, the blade should be kinda sharpish all you need to do is to using a sharpening block and just draw it against the sides freehand.
