I didnt need any more encouragement so dashed to my shed and grabbed a bow drill set.

Sadly her Arthritis prevented her getting the pressure down enough so we switched to ferro rod
this she managed much better
as you may be able to guess she was quite pleased
and most importantly
I got an ember when i showed the bowdrill to her
