Wish I'd seen the plywood jig on youtube before, your plunge line's so crisp and the bevel looks really even. Like the how the knife flows from the tip through to the handle.
Hand sanding is so much fun isn't it !

I'll be putting a micarta handle on a parang shortly (long handle). i'v not used micarta before and was thinking of doing the big work with a flap disc on an angle grinder......is there any reason you chaps didnt do it that way?

Lol, didnt even think of using the grinder! Long time with rasp, files, sandpaper...
