Just a bowl a carved in a burl

my friend is a tree surgeon and he found me a cherry burl attached to a branch. so i carved it out and i have to say it is one of my favouite bowls i have made so far.

Nice job! What tools did you use?

i used a curved adze for the bulk removal, a very slight pairing gouge to make the inside nice and smooth but still a tooled finish, and on the outside a small chisel to remove the bark that was really stuck on. oh and a silky saw to trim the ends. no sand paper went near this project
