I have lots to spare and no jam.

But I dont know the sugar conversion.

My plan is to remove the syrup and start with new suigar

reduce cooking time as its already stewed.

what do you think?
 
Sounds about right to me. Though perhaps I'd put in a bit less sugar as they will have absorbed some from the syrup. or perhaps keep some of the syrup in and put that amout of sugar less. Made lots of jam but none with bottled fruit so I'm just guessing. Really interested in how it turns out though.
