Does the spender of money on pursuing bushcraft fun request that an animal is killed just to enhance their return or pleasure. If not then your argument is nonsense.

For me, spending time and having fun in Nature is very closely connected to killing animals to get food. It does give me a great sense of pleasure and satisfaction to be able to this using every skill I have to forage or kill and be not dependent of food stuff I take with me from civilization.
Most animals I kill are fish. When I was younger and able to be long periods in the mountains I also used to snare hare and ptarmigan.

If I go back to the buzzard culling, I think that is wrong.
